Catch my Drift
Now it's not hiding anymore.
Nor do I just try to ignore
The truth that is unavoidable.
Oh, wouldn't it feel so incredible
To finally have someone know,
To have someone to show;
What more there is to see,
The part of me that won't let me free.
So I let it float to the surface
To see who knows me enough to take notice.
I am no longer not afraid to drown,
Because I won't let them pull me down.
Even if they decide to deplore
me, at least I'm not hiding anymore.
